We were welcomed to this community, and we have been guided by a desire to prove that the trust extended to us was well placed. Our business has made a determined effort to be a good neighbor and member of our local community. We participate in a wide variety of community events, and are a proud sponsor of our youth agricultural leaders. We also provide financial and volunteer support to a number of charitable causes, such as local schools, fire departments and the area EMS team. UWGP has also founded a scholarship program for high-achieving students.
UWGP is responsible for helping to lower the taxes of the local property owners, and increasing both the value of corn in our county and land values.
In keeping with our ongoing effort to contribute to our local community, the UWGP board of directors has approved the issuance of ten $1,000 scholarships (minimum of two for trade education), available to, 1) members of UWGP, 2) customers/producers of UWGP, 3) students (son or daughter) of members and customers/producers of UWGP, and 4) graduating seniors/alumni of area* high schools who are furthering their education at any college or trade institution, whether as a full- or part-time student.

We are proud of the accomplishments of the University of Wisconsin team and happy to play a part in their success. These young engineers are focused on creating true, flex-fuel vehicles that showcase the performance benefits of renewable, ethanol-based biofuels produced right here in Wisconsin. The race car is fueled by E85, and their latest snowmobile sports the ultimate flex fuel small engine, capable of running on everything from straight gasoline to pure ethyl alcohol (ethanol). The team continues to demonstrate the versatility, performance and safety of ethanol in engines both large and small.
As one of the team’s title sponsors, UWGP is pleased to help provide the students with an experience that will benefit them in their professional lives.

Supporting our future agricultural leaders is an important part of our mission at UWGP, and purchasing their winning livestock is one of our traditions. We attend the livestock auctions at Lodi, Columbia County and Green Lake County, and participate in the Dairy Youth Recognition Auction at Dodge County. We enjoy the time spent at the auctions, and appreciate the thanks we receive for participating. We are committed to supporting our youth in their achievements.
